I have a diabetes niche. I wrote some articles but don't get any visitors. There are really lots of authority site ranking on first page such as webmd.com, diabetes.co.uk, prevention.com etc whatever keywords. So really hard to rank. How do you think about this niche? I don't know how to do next. Do I need change my keywords? Look farword your reply Thanks.

Find few low completion keywords those you can rank easily. Target your niche blog like this. Make a proper plan..

Weekly or monthly:
Weekly 5 contents or monthly 30 contents or ever more if possible.
Target the keywords are easy to rank. Target the keywords from searches 100-1000+ .

If you can do 30 posts monthly and you are getting 100-1000+ searches let's make an average with 200.
So, 30*200= 6000 searches and you are ranking with the keywords so you will get 50% traffics on your blog. So, 3000 traffics/monthly from Google and from others as well Social media and Social book mark and from other search engine

Over all total: 5000 traffics

And suppose you are doing Amazon affiliate. And you are promoting the 50-200$ product rang price. And you are getting 4% commission there .

So, 2-8$/sale. make it average with 4$.

So, here are the math:

Traffics on your blog: 5000/monthly
Per sale: 4$

And will the targeted 5000 traffics you can get 2500 clicks on your amazon and you are getting 5-10% conversation.

125-250 sales.

So, 500$-1000$/monthly..

Congrs :D

What about backlinks?

I have done some backlinks. I don't think I can rank even if I have more backlinks because it is a diabetes niche.

Sounds good. Maybe you ignore a fact. My site is about diabetes. Whatever keywords you search evern if the searches under 10. Whatever how the low completion keywords, there are still lots of authority sites on the first page of google. Because there some some articles tagreting low completion keywords, But still don't get it ranking. I don't know how about other health niche like hemorrhoids, acne, tinnitus. But for a diabetes niche, it really hard to rank even if I got some powerful backlinks. Really depressed. Thanks for you answer, anyway. Really useful to me.

it is frustrating especially when backlinks today count less than they were yesterday. still the golden rule applies, keep your visitors glued and happy

Optimize your content. review page should be 1500+ words and also add 500-600 words blogposts on general information too without the affliate links.

then start building the links. and once it reach at 2-3-4th page. add high quality backlinks like blog networks.
That's the way I use to rank my single product sites to top 10.
cheers
