Hey all, I've been away from the forums for a long time, but now I'm back and looking to get some projects off the ground.

I have purchased a few domains and I am currently using a free host, xtreemhost.com for my wordpresses.

I recently have been messing with this autopost plugin, Nextscript, and I keep getting an error that leads me to believe its a host issue.

So now I am contemplating paying for hosting, but it needs to be extremely cheap because I am broke at the moment, and dont have a great deal of experience making money through SEO marketing.

If anyone could provide me with some suggestions I'm open to anything, and if the price is right I will sign up under an affiliate link.

    Thanks everyone.

Hostgator is affordable and good for your shared hosting needs. However, if you don't have experience with making money with seo, you can test out the methods you know on web 2.0 properties until you get consistent with your income.

Having own domain and hosting are the most essential things in IM, everything else can be done without paying a dime.
Try to do some more 9-5 work to save aside $50 for a year costs. Try Stablehost for hosting.

It is perhaps an incompatibility issue. Have you tried disabling the plugin?

I went with StableHost, and with a coupon I found got it for $22 for the year. And the plugin not working was a result with my hosting, because it works fine on stablehost, thanks junkfood!

I use them, search nextscripts and the error you got when testing. Mine were all stuff like not being able to post to Twtter because I already had FBs app doing it...

It doesn't piss around w/ 150x150 images either.

If you have projects that are "capable" of getting huge bursts of traffic, unfortunately cheap hosting shouldn't be an option. I thought I had a stable hosting provider but little did I know...

I ran a few websites that started out small, then went big. Then my hosting was unable to handle the traffic. I didn't realize this till I sold a website then the other just took off like I never even sold the website! Very, long story short.

I lost almost 30K in ad revenue and resale potential. Now I run my own hosting services myself and handle everything. Seems to be working very well now.

Free hosting should only be used if you have no money and want to build the website and then transfer it to a better host when it's done. Otherwise, go with quality because it pays off.
