My ISP just called me to give me a warning about me downloading some copyright material from a torrent. They said they recieved a complaint, and have a three strike rule so the third time I'm caught they're terminating my account. I'm in Canada and use bitcomet to download things. I'm guessing my ISP will probably be monitoring my activity more closely now and want to know how I can respond without having to curtail my internet activity. Is there anyway I can encrypt torrent downloads or take any precautions to hide/muddle the files that I am downloading so that my ISP or the owner company can't track me and see who the downloader is?
