This post is for all those that use youtube for traffic generation to there sites.

I recently have neglected my videos for a number of weeks due to other projects and have noticed my youtube clickbank income has been slowly withering away quiet aggressively. After logging into clickbank ive noticed that there is a new video filter option where by it orders your search results by giving your accounts country first preference.

Because my accounts are set up as Australian i think im now loosing alot of my US/UK traffic due to this new feature.

To fix this problem im currently setting up a wad of accounts as US/UK based then ill roll out my videos again.

So word of advise to all those who are currently using youtube for traffic generation to your sites.... Set your accounts up keeping this in mind.

Id very much appreciate any input anyone has on this new feature.

Protect that income people !!!!

I had the same proble.
I bacame a guro, and I choosed world af my country.
Now it all works as before.

I just went on youtube to look around for what you have just mentioned and i couldn't find a thing....?!?!??!?!

Are you saying there is "global" or "world" setting within the account settings ?

All i can see is individual country's!

You also mentioned becoming a guro :)

Do you mean changing your account to a guru account >?

The top one ( before Afghanistan) - the one with out a country - is the global or world location.
If you can't change it as a normal user, try and change your account to a guro account.

I'm going to have to check on those settings. I also noticed a drop in traffic. Hopefully these settings you have mentioned will remedy the problem. Thanks for the tips.

I hope thats not the case, although my accounts are set as UK and US anyway.

Seems like I killed my self. I whent from being a top 50 most viewed guros to becomming a nobody. Withour changing my work. So sombody is reading and doing this :)

Telle my how it goes, is it working?

This is new to me. I also noticed a large drop in traffic for the past few days.

Ok People I would like to pass on my findings......

To get around this issue of loss of traffic its crucial that you change your accounts geo location to US, UK or Global depending on your account type.

After making these changes to several of my accounts my income/traffic is back on the rise !!!! Jump on to this ASAP people!

Im glad youtube did bitch slap me for the last few weeks, its opened my eyes as to how vulnerable i am,as video traffic produces easily 80 % of my income.

During this down period ive been forced to build a couple new income streams online....

Cheers for the wakeup call U tube..... I should have learned my lesson after having my legs cut of by ebay a few years back...

All the best People !

Mate where can I change my accounts geo location? Cant find it on my account panel on youtube.

account--->my channel ---->location info---->current country---> select your country or choose blank (above afghanistan) to be world location or smth like that.

thanks for this advice sugarwillis, you saved me a lot of time and money... mine were on the slide too !
