Hi, I noticed that Youtube is putting in a "redirection notice" page when you click on a link in the comments of a video.
Is this worldwide? I live in Belgium.

You click on a link and you seer a page saying:

    Redirect Notice
The previous page is sending you to .... ( here is the external link )

If you do not want to visit that page, you can http://www.youtube.com/.

Is this killing traffic to external links or not?
With video marketing being popular nowadays, I wonder if you guys have noticed a drop in visitors or so?

That thing appears randomly for different users, I would not say that it kills your traffic, it weeds out the not so devoted visitors who anyway would not take action on your site (CPA, ads).

Just display the link and make users paste it into their browsers. The users that do this are the ones that are going to complete offers.

When it happens, yes it's obviously a buzz killer and it's meant to be such. Consider watermarking your videos as a workaround: that'll probably save you some swearing at a later time ;)

probably will spread all over in a few weeks. Damn, this will kill some traffic, but as Ismstd said dedicated visitors that are going to fill offers will still continue.

    Anyways, this is real bad

I think it will, but not so much for now.
We'll see if it gets worse in January or so (then it'll be a problem).
