    Hi guys,

I hang out a lot on here (regularly throwing my experiences/thoughts into the mix). I see people posting all the time about black hat strategies... but no one seems to be making any serious grounds with it, whether that be money/subscribers/views that stick.

So I'm curious. Is it actually working for you?

I'm purely white hat and it is working great for me and in my niches, I never see black hatters do well at all. YouTube's algorithm seems to be extremely, extremely smart and has been amazing at cutting out the black hatters from what I can see.

blackhat methods on youtube arent the best i agree... but there is always blackhat methods that work too.

Build up a huge social media following through a blackhat method and then promote your youtube videos :) so your youtube is whitehat and in good standing order

Using youtube as parasite to rank on google works. Make good video, on-page seo, throw backlinks, rank in google and possibly on youtube.

I tried black hat for some time, didn't give me the income that white hat gave me. I'm sure black hat ytb methods can be very profitable but it's for a limited time sooner or later all your videos will be removed.

My question is: What do you consider 100% Whitehat. It's a fact that you need to buy views and likes in order to make it rank.

If you don't do that you would need 100% natural, organic views which would take ages and lots of promo.

Blackhat yt is strong but you need to add a twist to get to the top
and that twist is likes the more likes you get the heigher you become

you can get a service from vlad who owns blastersuite and a master in
video marketing they offer the youtube views
from real ppl and it works....

My methods are actually black hat by definition. I have never been banned and my channel is growing strong, I just don't buy cheap views.

OP.What is your definition of white hat ?

Even if you use Youtube for commercial purposes using so called white hat methods you will still get flagged by competitors.Which can be a headache.

Ran many solid attempts at both WH and BH youtube endeavors over the years. Had early success with BH and domain parking almost ten years ago, but never really got any more traction after that and moved on to other continued BH efforts elsewhere.

I think that using YT directly with BH efforts still works in bulk, and people are still making money with some commenting bots, and other methods as they stumble on them, but for the average blackhatter the revenue does run dry. Obviously if you can do a whitehat channel and generate actual desired content you can earn a long-term and stable income, and you can use youtube as a traffic acquisition model directly.

The first two responses to your question provide real workable strategies. Youtube as a parasite, and or a feeder site into your funnels or other traffic acquisition channels are both solid models that are likely to continue to work for a long time to come.

I'll go with this. I haven't really gotten into the whole Youtube thing but that is in my list for monetization methods I would want to make work.

The bottomline, I think, is keeping your Youtube account pristine while supplementing it with other strategies (blackhat, whitehat, grayhat, etc.).
