    Hi,

I dont have any internet bandwidth limitation and can allocate a windows PC to SEO tasks. I also have 50 proxies from SquidProxies and can renew them monthly upon request. (If needed, i can increase the number of proxies later)

Assuming that i will use a few SEO tools (e.g. senuke) with proxy support, do i still need to buy a VPS? I would like to invest that money to something else (e.g. more proxies, content etc.) if possible.

Nah, just create a virtual machine on your computer and use your tools there.

You don't need to buy a VPS (unless the VPS is faster than your computer, and you want the extra speed) or you want to stay strictly anonymous for legal purposes.

@casperl ... if you intend to use something like nohandsSEO or something which runs 24x7 .. use a VPS .. not sure how much data speed you have .. however most VPS would have more data speed than your home connection.. so you can do more ..

    Thanks for the replies.

Regarding legal issues, i am from Turkey. So i guess legal issues is not a much serious problem for me. Furthermore, using proxies or vps does not make your actions untraceable as far as i know.

I am using virtualbox at the moment ;)

I dont plan to do seo activities which takes lots of bandwidth (e.g. blog commenting with scrapebox) myself. I plan to purchase those lower level activities whenever necessary.
Additionally, i am new to seo tools. I plan to move slowly.
But if i see that bandwidth or speed is a problem, i will purchase a vps. I understand that.

At the moment, i am asking this mainly to see other factors that i cant foresee. For example, should i be worried about Google if i enter to my gmail from the machine used for SEO with proxies?

Another related question, especially to people who lives in non-us countries. Are you using VPS? If so, where is VPS located?
I tried buying a VPS from US but remote connection to it was too slow and i could not use it. I checked VPS services in Turkey. VPS servers are located either in Turkey or in Europe. Which one do you suggest if i decide to buy one? Additionally, their bandwidth is generally limited to 500Gb. Is it enough for you?

VMWare is best solution, however I use VirtualBox without any problems.
