Hi

I was wondering whether doing too much computer a day almost 8 hours for months even years or so in quest to make money online is harmful for your health ?i have heard too much of computer is bad because of the radiation

Can it cause brain cancer or eye problems or other health problems ?

Yes, it can/will make you sick in the long run. What bothers me the most is that too much computer can make you impotent :woot: . F*ck that shit.

heu dont think that
use TFT montor i usualy use computer atleat 14-16 hrs a day when u got headache just leave it on

Yes, too much computer is bad for health as you don't do much physical activity and your eyes are affected to some extent but if you take regular breaks in between, the harmful affects can be reduced to a great extent.

Monitor is very bad for your eyes. I've had my vision decline over the last 16 years from 20/20 to.. well much worse. Not to mention if you smoke while at the computer your more likely to chain smoke.. (I do anyway) ;)

OR you could end up like this guy!

Yup, too much computer is VERY harmful. You should always try to work less on computer, believe me, I'm working on a computer a long time and I have fucked up back, my vision has gone from perfect to bad, my neck is hurting me all the time. So, my plan is to work less in 2009 and earn more :) Try to do as much of work off computer. So if you have brainstorming, planing etc. go on the bed, chair, kitchen, living room and write that stuff on the notepad. Try to recreate and do as much sport as you can, go outside on the fresh air when you can. I'm not doing this stuff enough and I see the result, my bad health and lack of motivation over time. When you do sports regularly you will be more happy and you will think more clearly, so ideas for making money will pop up all the time :)
Try to organize your stuff in to the routine because this is the way we work so you will much easier go to exercise and similar. We live in cycles so try to organize your work for about 90minutes in 1 cycle and then make a break and stretch yourself, run in place, jump to get your heart pumping. One one last thing, do not work in multitasking mode :) but concentrate on 1 thing and you will be much more effective. (Those are couple of tips I've picked up from Eban Pagans courses)

LCD monitors are far better then CRT but still you should use them less because when you look at the light (monitor) you effect your vision, your brain etc. and you should also eat healthy (more healthier then other people that don't work on computer).

Yes, use a TFT monitor because it doesn't emit radiation as an old CRT monitor. CRT monitors and TV are actually quite the same principle...

Also, if after using the pc for some time (not much) your eyes start to "burn" a little (sorry for the term but my English isn't the best and I can't find a better one. Hope you can understand) then you need to go do some exams because you may already have eye relaxation problems...

I'm only 21, I've used computers during almost my entire life. Due to using computers to much I now have to use glasses... I can see perfectly, but after using computers or TV's for some time, my eyes start to "burn" (sorry again).

PS: If someone can help with a better term or knows what I'm talking about, please say so ;)

too much sitting and looking at short range for an extended period of time is harmful, I personally do yoga everyday to balance it out, and look at a distance whenever possible, I might have to rearrange my workspace so its directly located in front of a window.

I spend more than 8 hours per day on the computer, I'd say some weeks (like the past weeks) included about 16 hours a day.
It does not make me sick as long as I sometimes get a bit vaccation.

You mainly get sick when you are stressed all the time, when you don't like the stuff you do or if you combine your PC time with food/eating.
