It might. But i think at this point Tik tok already has a mind of its own, and it will be difficult to replace.
Its like, the kids moms are on Instagram, the kids are on tik tok.
The kids moms got on facebook, the kids went to instagram.

I see Tiktok is winning and will always be ahead of Reels/Shorts and its because of their fine tune Algo.
