I would appreciate your kind expertise on this method I came across and I wonder if it is the right/best way to go as far as SEO goes for a brand new website only.

Basically it's a 3 month process where you should repeat these steps weekly and the results should follow.

(ezine linkback to main-site) < linkwheel + blog comments
(youtube linkback to main-site) < linkwheel + blog comments
(citation linkback to main-site) < linkwheel + blog comments
    (review-site linkback to main-site) < linkwheel + blog comments
    repeat weekly

Is there any truth to this or this is just too simple?

I'm sure it would work. Just constantly creating new pyramid link structures by the looks of it. Probably a long process, but reasonably safe.

you should put it into action and then you can let us know how well it works.

This is the exact reason I'm asking. I plan on trying this method as soon as my new site is done, hopefully it will turn out for the best :)

Basically you will only have 4 types of backlinks to your money site after 3 months
Link wheel? I hope at least you will not close it.

read newer threads about seo and stop reading those link building threads 5+ years old.

The HOW looks fine, the HOW MUCH is what you should be looking at. Don't overdo the tier1 links or you'll invite penalties.

If 4 types of links and 48 or so of total links in 3 months in tier 1 is overdoing of building links. You can call my tier 1 link building as raping it :)

The reason I like this method is that is very simple one hand, and it focuses on quality links from very few places but in a consistent way, and I hope this is where the magic is.... I Will defiantly try that and update on results.

Only if SEO is that simple. I have mentioned this a gazillion times, but I'll say it again. There are so many factor affecting rankings. Link building is just one of it.

But since this is about your link building, I'll point out some flaw or suggestion so you can improve it a little bit.

I agree quality is one thing to consider, but after those crazy google update, so is diversity. You diversify not only your anchors but also the type of backlinks you have. 4 types backlinks is hardly a diversity. You are doing this type of link building over and over again, and with this few number of links, google will catch on sooner than you expected.

Well I see your point and it sounds about right in many cases however for a period of 3 month to do these steps (basically building a total of 16 links per month) what I'll get is a good solid foundation from known places so I don't see how it can hurt. The link-wheels pointing to site I plan on mixing up so there will be as little footprint as possible.

Of course if there will be no movement in serp within this time period I'll throw in the mix some other link sources.
