I started a new niche website with 40 pages and each articles of 2500 words. Built backlinks with bookmarking, profile links and blog comments on good blogs in my niche.

Now, Majestic show my site's TF 23 and CF 32. Ahrefs shows 1700 Organic keywords

Now most of my articles/keywords are on 3 page.

I have built backlinks mostly on homepage.

-------------------------------
Instead of targeting all articles, I have decided to focus on 2 articles currently ranking on 3rd page with good monthly KW search. I will publish around 15 web2.0s each and maintaining mixed anchor texts. Will try to get backlinks from forums too for these page

Once they show movement and reach first page, I will target others. But for now, lets build backlinks on 2 articles only. Is this right way?

You are doing very well for a newbie so far, glad to see someone actually doing something right and not asking idiotic questions. Good job!

You are on the right track and yes, some people prefer to build links to rank articles one by one, that's not a problem at all. If your interlinking is done well, then no matter where you point your link, entire site will get a boost. Just don't overdo it and take it slow.

Since you presented a good plan and asked for advice on your plan, let's look at refining it.
Don't take 1-2 posts, take 4. We'll call them A, B, C, D
So try this:
Post A & B: build some tiered web2s to it(mixing expired and new), send some social signals, and some quality social shares around this post. Get some quality backlinks to this post(if applicable: infographics, video shares, audio shares, whatever you can build up)
Now, after a month of tossing quality links at A & B, let them marinate for a month, and do the same to C & D.
After another 30 days, see where A & B are ranking. If A is higher, focus the next month 75% on building it more links, and the rest to B.
Do the same for C& D now.
Lather rinse repeat.
Once 2 posts are ranking tops(A & C), mix new posts in their place: B & E and D& F. Start over. As pages reach the top, replace them with new posts.
This will accomplish a few things:
1) once started, you'll always be ranking pages, and at different stages, so you won't end up with a hard start/stop process in growth.
2) as you rank up more pages, the next pages will eventually become easier to rank.

do also some tiered quality link building ... like nicht PBNs and then boost them

Thanks for replying. I will know start building links as your said on 2 articles. Can I build all these links within a week? Will link velocity matter?

Second, Since I have limited backlink sources like web 2.0s, audio shares, video shares, etc, I may use all these unique domains to build backlinks to 2-3 articles. But for the remaining articles, I have to build backlinks again from some domains. Would that benefit them less?

Thanks for appreciation. Ordered 15 web2.0s and doing more manual blog commenting. Will submit videos. images and do some social signal. For the interlinking, I have just linked randomly other posts in bottom of article title "For Further Reading".

I need home page some backlinks from auto-niche blogs. But afraid of PBNs and expired domains are rare/difficult to find.

Any recommendation? Seeking brotherly advice . I am too new in this wild jungle...

PBN domains are not difficult to find and you can always buy them. Building the network correctly is the problem. What auto niche blogs?

You are doing good, btw in SEO there is no RIGHT strategy. Many people are using many different strategies. Just find what works for you best and use that strategy.
BTW you can boost those tier1 links and aswell add some PBN or guest posts (guest p. if you have the budget). Don't forget the diversity.

With Auto niche blogs I meant blogs in Car/Auto niche since my website is in same category.

I hope you doing Right Way and keep your unique way to promote more better & easy in SERP Results ;)

I would like to add that you should diversify your backlinks, since profile links, bookmark links, and blog comments are spammy, low quality links.

I don't know your niche but try to get some backlinks from reddit, (with upvotes so it becomes a DF), some niche relevant forums, Quora and Yahoo answers.

Your strategy feels like something I would adopt for a pump site that supports by tier 3 websites with longtail keywords that fuels my tier 2 niche-relevant site that is there to bring a lot of traffic to my authority site.

Practice makes perfect. Keep it going.

Stop lying i've never ever get penalized for blog comments. If you know what you are doing you are fine. I know a guy who is ranked with 70% blog comments for a very VERY competitive niche in the last 2 years.

What is the difficulty and monthly searches on the two pages(their keywords) you are targeting? This will determine most of your ranking plan from this point on

Good one mate. You might like to consider Social Media as a part of your SEO strategy.
