Hey guys, the story is funny and sad actually

.. but it's really urgent .. I am kind of desparate

My girlfriend wanted to check today my chat with my bestfriend, but she's smart and she search in conversation "interesting things" , but there are things that she doesn't have to see.. The problem is that our chat is soooo long and when i go to certain message i can only view it and not delete it.. Is there anyway to turn to certain date to see chats and delete messages from this certain date?

I can't describe you how thankful i will be, i will save her a lot of info on my opinion about her mom

and other things (non other girls related i am not that kind of person and i love her enough to not do that)

Please, you are masters that's why i thought that's the best place to search for help!!!

No, i dont she checks from my phone so i have time to delete them if there's way to do that.. because we have really long chat and it will take days to return to these dates and delete them .....

Facebook doesn't have such a feature! but you still can search for those "interesting things" using the "search in conversion" and remove them manually.

PS: I have never allowed to my GF or my ex's to check my conversations! like what the fuck happened to PRIVACY seriously?

From chrome i didn't have these 3 points which you click to choose "Remove" as option, downloaded mozilla and it worked but i hit "remove" and they are not deleted... I don't have problem deleting them manually if i can search them by "search in conversation" but from phone i don't have option to delete them and from PC doesn't work seems like..

It works like a charm for me! I don't think that browsers have something to do with it but I'm using Opera.

Why does she want to check your chat in the first place? Do you check her phone as well? This is not good either ways.

Аhh i tried opera too now and still didn't work... I search the message and i click these 3 dots left from the message, i have 2 options "remove" and "show original" , when i click remove nothing happens, message is still there even after refreshing page..

I did too, but i didn't want to, we had a conversation which led to that and she decided to show me without me asking then she asked for same favour...

Yes i click remove here too, and nothing happens, message did not disappear (like it should) just stays there, i thought it's just bugging and after refresh it'll be removed, but no... Do you use search in conversation for a keyword then when it finds message with that keyword try to delete it?
I tried from my laptop now too, same..

Yes, this is exactly what I'm doing! It might be a Facebook bug on your account! I deleted more than 20 messages (From 2011) and everything went smoothly.

This is weird, look if you have another Facebook account try to apply the previous steps again if it didn't work then it should be your IP. in this case you have to try again from a VPS or something.

Yeah it's possible. Do it from your PC. Go into your inbox there you will see ... dots. Click that and hit remove. I just did it and it worked fine for me so try doing it from another device.

Tried to share my 4g connection now with PC still same issue... I saw that there's an option to download chats, do you know if i download the chat edit it when i download it, can i uplaod it later fixed?

I already did that tried so many things and getting same problem - when i click "Remove" message is not been removed...
