make sure you dont just use comments for links, google will notice that. I lol'd @ "With an appealing site, you'll be recognized by the web community as a reliable source and links to your site will build naturally." Whose got the patience to wait for people to link to you? o_O

I know...legit. I just don't get how we are supposed to get up in the rankings w/o spamming links.

You think google has ever allowed comment spamming? Cmon man. Google has never allowed this kind of crap. Each year they just report the same stuff to scare new "BlackHatters" off the trail.

What do you mean they have "ever" allowed comment spamming? Sure, they have always counted Wordpress comments as links. I'm hoping they are just trying to scare me, so I can continue using a program to build links. I got 200 inlinks in just 5 minutes using this program I bought a while back!

Rofl. Welll looking at my sig you would hope so :p. They are going to continue to count links. But they have never allowed spamming of any type. Whether that be linkfarms, comment spamming etc.

The fact that they are now putting pen to paper saying that they dont allow comment spamming doesnt mean its a new rule, is all im saying.

Listen to Google, never ever ever spam your links on blogs.

even better never ever ever create a link to your site with the intention of increasing its rankings (google says thats a no no also)

and while you are following, I will be sitting back counting my money

The only thing to trust is results :). If spamming comments gets you ranked then do it, if not, throw in other types of links as well.
