    Hi guys,
I've worked with fiverr for quite a while now. My niche isn't the one my question is about, but I keep stumbling upon those Gigs.

    Code:
    http://fiverr.com/amazesolutions/drive-unlimited-genuine-real-traffic-to-your-website-for-one-month
This one is probably the best example. This guy is banking hard, but that's not the point.
I've been wondering: Is this offer legit? Or is it some sort of method where people use bots/proxies/.. ,because I've seen a couple of those offers and I don't really see how you'd drive traffic in the hundreds/thousands to one particular website. I'm also doubting it, because nobody in here has ever talked about it. And 5$ for ~100 unique visits/day for one month is definitely something you guys would've talked about if it was real.

    Suggestions/oppinions?

My best guess is that he is using some kind of Traffic Exchange. Traffic is good, but traffic is only traffic until it is targeted. You can have a million visitors to your site without making a single sale in the traffic is not targeted.

I do realise that. I'm convinced that if this is real traffic, there's no way it's targeted which makes it pretty much useless. But I'm still wondering if it's real traffic. Is there a way to find out? I wouldn't mind buying a month of traffic for 5$, but I have no idea how to tell if traffic is real or faked with bots or any other method.

The traffic will surely be useless. If it wasn't useless then the seller would just be banking on it himself instead of selling it for peanuts. However I believe you can get software to track how users interact with your website. If 3k visitors only goes to the frontpage for 10 seconds each and doesn't click anything then you can be pretty sure it's bots, surf for $0.000001/view or some other worthless traffic source.

It most likely is not, but set up Analytics and see your bounce rate skyrocket and average time spent on site go to minimum and see for yourself.
