Someone in my CPA network linked to this fiverr gig in the chat. He said that he saw good results from it and it helped him ranked. I checked out the gig, now that I think about it I have never sent any .edu or .gov links to my domain before. And I happen to have $5.00 lying around in my fiverr account. I was thinking about purchasing this gig, is it worth it? Would I just be wasting money or do you think these links would be legitimate and give me the boost I need to go from the 14th result to the top 3?

$5 isn't a lot of money, if it doesn't work leave the seller a negative review or ask for a refund.

Don't think so much about $5, your time is worth more than $5 dollars.

They are just .Edu profile links. Nothing great. That volume does not look good either from all being profile links.

What scares me away is the PYRAMID part of it. For $5 you'll be getting massively spammy links as the T2/3 most likely. There is nothing wrong with getting edu links of Fiverr, but look for just the links. And know that 4/5 of the ones I've tried gave shitty fake edu links rather than pure .edu domains.

I've had good experience with Fiverr gig's for backlinks and SEO, and I've had absolute shit ones. Unfortunately it takes 30+ days to really see results from these gigs so unless you dispute, the gig is going to automatically close in the sellers favor.

These top backlink sellers have 10,000's of positive reviews because of this, and because of noobs just seeing that the order has been delivered and getting excited about it.

Unfortunately a lot of the gigs that I used in the past for backlinks that worked really well vanished from my order history when Fiverr switched to a new site layout, although most recently I've had pretty good success with this gig for strong backlinks.

Ultimately with Fiverr you will almost always get what you pay for. For a $5 purchase don't expect to get the world and then some, it just won't happen...But you can find some gems :)

    Good luck.

I won't point those low quality links from Fiverr directly to money site that will harm your site in the long run.Don't expect a lot from $5.00

500+ links are good for tier 2 unless you are going for churn and burn sites.

However, being a popular Fiverr seller myself, I would not agree with the recommendation that "if it doesn't work leave the seller a negative review or ask for a refund". Why would you leave a negative review or ask for a refund if it doesn't work? I checked the gig and the seller does not guarantee any rankings. He is simply promising the links and if he does that, his work is complete. It is created with bots for sure (as nobody would create so many links manually for that price) and it is sort of spammy links. These are just realistic things which you need to know after being in BHW for so long. You must know how to use them instead of crying of not getting good rankings with those. If it was possible to rank at the top of Google with just a $5 gig, then all of us would have been billionaires my friend. You get what you pay for. Be realistic in your expectations especially when the seller has not mentioned any ranking guarantees.
