Hello! So I am looking for some expired domains for PBN. And this is happening quite often with the domains I find. Its a good domain with good metrics (DA, PA, CF, TF) and great backlinks. I actually dont care much about the metrics, I care about the links! And the links are clean as I can see with MOZ and Ahrefs: good backlinks from techcrunch, business insider and more; anchor text is not spamming, pointing to great pages, all good. But then I go to way back machine and find out that that domain was used recently for sexual content, loans stuff, etc. Chinese and Japanese pages.
My question is: is this domain good for a PBN or not?
    I am intrigued by this...!

    .

I would say no, it might not be good for a PBN...

Ten to one it was dropped from a PBN when G00gle slapped it with penalties

Is PBN still alive and kicking? I would buy expired domains but not for PBN though...

Avoid it due to the recent content it had.

What happens if I purchase this domains? Not indexed? Indexed but penalized later? Can it hurt the money site or just get slapped by G?

I didnt bought this domain but I just realized I have another one in an identical situation. Its like a plague god dammit.

Don't buy it. I think a site with bad history is even worse than a website with bad metrics.

If it has been used for sexual content, then don't use it. There may be risk.

you have to make sure that the site has never used for pbn.then its fine.but if it used for japan, chinese other local languages, there is a chance that the domain was used for mailing purpose.if you want to find good domain i can help you without any cost.

I'd recomend you to not buy it. Domains associated with such type of content will do you more harm than any good.

Always look at history of the domain. If it contains Japanese and Chinese get rid of it since most of them are spammy.

People here talk without testing, if it's still indexed go straight for it, I've done few times and no damage taken. Just be sure of backlink profile. Too much caution won't move you foward.

Most of the expired domains i find are similar. They throw it away because it was already penalized by google.
It may get indexed but the chances are you wouldn't get good rankings. Move on with another domain or try your luck. Its a gamble

If you don't want to buy it PM, because I will. There is a lot of ways to get a de indexed domain to work. Would it be good for a PBN? Most likely not, but it can be put to good use.

If the domain was great, it would be bought by someone else long times ago.

today you cannot find a decent domain manually without auction, most of them are registered automatically by bot at the time they expire.

My answer is NO, Don't buy anything that has a History of Russian/Chinese spam on it and
the domain could have been already de-indexed or penalized.
So, its better not to waste your money on that..

I would avoid at all cost. Been there done that, and been slapped by G for as little as 6 of those type of domains pointing to my MS.

I always pass on such domains. I personally have found some very compelling dropped domain of PR 3+ lot of edu links. It was hard to let them go emotionally because of their good metrics but they were spammed to death in past with chinese and porn stuff.

I'd advise to do the same.
