I am building an authority site, it's about 13 months old domain, has 100% unique content. I had very good rankings, but on dec. 27 my rankings dropped for all keywords (about 30 kw). That's more than 2 weeks..

One keyword is back to #1, others are still affected. Some dropped to page 5, some are at page 50.

If I do a search for my domain, the main page and some others come up first, so I'm hoping it's not a penalty.

I went over everything, increased page speed, added new content more frequently, added relevant external links and a youtube vid. I came to the conclusion that it may be caused by a sitewide link I bought about a week before this happened. The site looked like a five page site. But when checked the backlinks, it seems G takes every php variable url as a different page. So I have about 200k links from that one site and increasing.

Why I am hesitant to believe that sitewide link is the problem is because I had 2 Xrumer blasts a couple months ago, and my site didn't even shiver. Gained about 10 places in serps without dancing and that was all.

What do you think guys? I am starting to loosing it. Should I remove the bought link, at least for a while? Isn't 2 weeks too much to be a dance?

    I would appreciate any feedback!
