For keyword 4 garage doors? thats their name and I dont think anyone searching for garage doors would put number 4 infront of their search.

Does 4 means something in garage doors world?

    Hiya,

Ok firstly its a massive site with a lot of pages, so there's loads of textual content for Google to feed off, because as we all know the big G cannot see images (hence the ALT tag)

There pages are title "garage door in [town]"
So if I search for "garage door" then I am not looking to buy a garage door - if I was looking to buy then i would search "garage door [my town]".

By having a search query match exactly what is in the page title, big G sees it as relevant content.

They also have a H1 that is a buying word including the [town] so that's extra weighting.

They have a HTML and XML sitemap for big G to easily navigate. No robots.txt though, would be even more efficient if they had that.

The site also has in links from each page and a few external links. This combined with a few other tactics is basic SEO - wouldn't say anything too black-hatty going on here.

    Any1 agree??

LOL. This is my site! Thanks for everyone not considering that this is black hat.

But to tell you the truth it takes a lot of quality deep linking to make this site work.

We are launching a new site soon. I will drop the URL once it done.

So funny that there is a post about my site being black hat or not.

    Great!

Oh, now I get it! Cirfer is Steve from Florida. LOL.

I think the community has spoken. We are totally legit and our sites are not black hat.

Why did you think our site was only 30 days old? We have over 100 clients for that vertical and have been marketing for garage door services a long time.

We do have sites about a month old that are page 1 in google for our keywords. But its not black hat, it just good SEO and quality linking.

Pretty funny I stumbled on this post though.
