Is this an example of lead shaving by CPA networks?

Ok today I sent out 350 replies to my job post responses and had a link to CPA offer that paid $3 a lead.

When I checked my CPA stats at the beginning it showed 43 clicks and 4 conversions. But when I checked my stats at end of the day it showed 98 clicks now, but no more conversions.

Do you guys think the network is shaving big time or what? Or could it be that all those leads just clicked the link, but did not complete the offer.

    Any feedback?

lol if you have seen the "how to talk to hot women" offer, i promoted it and got 9 leads within 30 clicks, and after 300 more i ended up with zero more leads. so yes, it probably was..

So then how can we project what we will earn when we scale knowing that after a certain point the leads no longer account? So I guess the best thing to do is spread your leads over several different networks to maximize your earnings. Say in my case if I had used another network with different offer for the last 50 or so clicks then I could have made any 4 or so conversions instead of sending all the leads to one offer. The hard part is figuring out when at what point the shaving begins to switch over to another offer and CPA company.

So in your case what did you do? Did you switch to another offer with a different CPA network? So can I assume with my offer that If I send this same network the same amount of traffic the next day to the same offer then none of those leads would count as well (say I get 100 clicks)? Does it reset somehow or once you reach a certain point the shaving continues?

Sometimes the advertiser shaves too, and, more often than not, both the network and the advertiser shave.

Usually, when they see you're getting good conversions, they start shaving you like a Christmas pig.

I think my network is shaving me, too. I'm pretty certain of it, but then again - I understand that this is a harsh world and there is nothing you can do about it. At least I still get some money.
