    Hello All,
I've just formulated a plan to make money selling door to door but I have no idea if it will be a success or not. So here's the plan:
I have a mate who works in a wholesale candy shop and he tells me he can sell me candy for prices with unbelievable discounts. Anyway, I know some kids that are eager to make some money. I'm just thinking, If I supply them the candy, tell then to sell door to door and give me a commission or cut, will it work?
I've got more than enough money I can invest in this so can you tell me if it's a great idea?
    Thanks.

Kids, candy and strangers. Sounds like a solid plan.

Try to use really cute kids so people find it hard to say no them, maybe have them go with puppies as well.

If you can use orphans, that would be better. People will be less likely to notice if they go missing.

Like a drug diller... He will have kids going door to door... :) Just kidding... Personally, I hate when someone disturbs me and rings on my door trying to sell something... But that's just me...

This is an old racket. Typically, the operator buys candy from fundraising supply companies. The chocolate bars, popcorn, cookies, or whatever has special packaging that mentions how it's for a special cause. They recruit a bunch of kids, drive them around town and drop them off in different neighborhoods. Kids gets coached in what to say when they knock on the door. Kid gets paid for ever bar sold.

A twist to this is to do a call campaign and sell to businesses as well. You need to have some juice behind your brand though. Think wounded warriors or something like that. Not my pot of tea but it would work.
