i create a blog for a niche (say weight loss) which contains clickbank and amazon products related to the niche, write a few articles, advertise the blog through pings, social networks, etc. would i make a sale at least? has anyone else tried the same?

on a side note: is there some legal thing about having a blog containing clickbank and amazon products? something like you cant have a site selling amazon products, if its already selling clickbank products?

    cheers

There's nothing stopping you from doing it, unless you do something really reckless with the ads, ie: blatantly violate their ToS and brag about it with your real name, and I don't even think they'd come after you for it

I'm sure if you could drive enough traffic to the site you could easily make at least 1 sale. I say go for it.

I've had good luck with amazon. There's no reason you can't run amazon and clickbank products on the same page. Maybe make the amazon contextual ads so they blend in a bit better and there's fewer obvious blocks of ads and it will look less spammy to the traffic.

    thanks guys for the responses!

what do you guys think of the following
    - if i had one host
    - create multiple wordpress blogs on that one host
    - update each wordpress for different niches
    - create bit.ly or similar links to each wordpress blog (being an alternative to domain names)
    - advertise each bit.ly or similar links

do you think that would work just as well? perhaps there are some other alternatives or tips?
