What i want to do is comment on all of my competitors websites that are on the
first page for my choosen KW but obviously i cannot have an anchor text pointing to my domian because the Mod of the site will not approve the comment.

so if i created a subdomain domain forwarding for example "bacon.mysite.com" and that forwards to a unrelated site like techblog.

now when the mod approves the comment then i will change the forwarding to my site (i am a competitor) but they think i'm not. will this count as a backlink?

The backlink will still be pointing to your own domain even if you do forward it to anywhere else, so the chances are the Mods still won't approve your link.

Why not just go for backlinks that you know you can get without having to go through all the extra work?

Another way that will be more profitable in the long run and is much easier is to take the URLs of your competition on page 1 for your KWs, find out where they are getting their backlinks from, and then use those places to get backlinks to your own site.

You won't be able to get all of them, but you will be surprised at what you can dig up.

They've done all the hard work, so exploit it.:D

If their ranking because of site-to-site linking, then that either means that they should be pretty easy to move or that those sites are authority sites and won't budge too easily.
