I am guessing all of them are 100% black hat and are scams. Do they take your money and run or what?
Most of them are legit...don't you read? They make money on their bids...
Keep talking. What you pay to bid or something?
I'd think that swoopo and quibids are legit.
You pay to place your bid. Usually these sites raise the price by only a penny or so and charge you a dollar to place your bid. If you win you have the cost to place all your bids PLUS the cost of the winning bid. These companies I would presume make a killing off their bidders.
Is there a way to bank off these?
Wow, $0.60 per bid! Let see. An iPad is at $15. So that is 1500 bids! Thats near $1000 they have made!! HOLY CRAP! JUST ONE ITEM!
They don't make that much money. They have autobidders that place fake bids to keep the auctions running....till they meet their 'reserve' price.
What is the best penny auction script?
A custom built one....the ones on the market suck. I've got a programmer that has built over a dozen of these sites, and he does very quality work. A basic one will cost you $2,000 and a couple months to build.
Thanks Mr. Affiliate.
Mr. Affiliate? Just telling you the truth. Your best bet is to have one built custom to your needs. A ready made one will cost you around $1,000 and will be crap.
Anyways, here you go. But speaking from experience...this script is a bitch to customize.
Penny auction sites make can make ALOT of money!
One person won a brand new mustang on beezid for just 5 grand!
Thats like $250,000 dollars that the car actually sold for thats just insane!
Thats 4/5 posts youve gravedug. Check the posts.
More on topic now that its here, i wonder how this guy did, if you ever made a penny auction. Wish I was creative enough to come up with a pennyauction idea.
I wonder what it would cost to start one.
it varies. noones gonna yell over a month or two. even a few months. but almost 3 years is...yeah
