    Hello there =)

Is there some people who use sms payement on them website ?
    (with rentabiliweb for exemple).
If yes i think it could be interesting to share our experiences on this way of payout, i earned last month 540 euro only from a micro niche with this original method of payment (and no more than 5 hours of work).

    what about you ?

    regards

I was accepting donations via SMS for a website I used to run. There are some conclusions I came to:

    - As long as the process is simple (i.e send a message to xxx number) your conversion rates will increase. However, if it is a long winded process that takes more than a few steps, PayPal will still be the payment medium of choice.

    Hi!

I do run SMS Payments on one of my sites with Zong. They are great because it doesn't cost a dime to set up (you need some technical know how). The support is great. I did integrate it with amember (around 100$ done by amember staff) that my customers can buy a membership with their cell phones.

The main reason for me was that my site targets people from parts of the world where it's very difficult to get a creditcard/paypal.

So I really recommend especially if you target markets with low credit card accesibility.

However the fees that the carriers take are horrible. Eg. if a member signs up for a membership and pays 1,5$ per day you end up getting only $.50 - so you really have to think whether it's worth it and if you have enough customers.

Yes, as you say this way of payout is the best if your customer doesn't have PP or credit card =)

i saw some company which sell sms subscription every week. (from 5 to 20 euro)
so if you have 10 customers for exemple, then every week you will make 5x10.. 50 euros
we all know this is easy to get.

but if you have more than 100 subscribed users then it become very interesting =D

Also, what you have to take into consideration is that with many countries there is a limit as to how much you can charge. For example Spains maximum is 7EUR where you end up getting around 3,50EUR. However in many Latin American countries it is even worse, max. payments of 1,5$ is quite common. Many times multiple billing doesn't work either, so you can't send out like 3 SMS to charge $4,50. That's not Zong's fault this resides only on the carrier side.

However, if you target "first world countrie" that looks much, much better. I think for Germany there are even payouts of around 80EUR possible.
