Is there really a reson to scrape from google using scrapbox?

    hi,

    as i testing a few times now.
    bing with api , get something like 10X more then Google (harvesting result) in last time.

    so should i try even scrape with Google?

    it depends what your wanting to use the scraper for. but i never use bing, i use yahoo and google to sctually scrape but soley google for checking the indexing via scraper

    We scrape from google because you can get accurate results.

    Like using quotes to find a specific sentence.
    ir you scrape pages with a specific title,or word in a URL..etc..


    Dont know if these features are supported by yahoo.
    But another reason is that google is fast in indexing when compared to yahoo and bing so you might get more results .

    It really depends on what you are scraping for. Bing's commands aren't always perfect.

    Does anyone know when does Bing ban an IP, when using their API?

    Maybe public proxies last longer with Bing, due to their API?
