Is there anyway to export e-mails from Gmail

    I need to export e-mails (from my gmail inbox).
    Does anybody know anyway to do this ?

    Which one do you suggest ?

    Doesn't matter. I need to export e-mails from people who e-mailed me.

    Just Forward those mails to your required mail address :p wired.
    Actually I have never faced this so can't help :(

    np, thanks for the tip. I know I can collect them one by one but there are about 350 emails. I need to find a way to collect senders' e-mails.

    If I'm not wrong, there is no export function in gmail.

    But you can setup local email client like outlook, express mail or thunderbird on your pc to have pop access to your gmail account. It will download all existing mails and from there you can export to a backup file.

    and if you have created folder and want to sync them use IMAP instead of POP3.

    The quick way is create a yahoo account then import the contacts from gmail then after export it.
