Is there anything I can do about Scrapebox license if I have to reinstall Windows?

I think I'm going to have to reinstall Windows 10 on my computer, but I have Scrapebox setup on it, and I don't want to have to pay the fee to set it up on the same computer, if I have to reinstall Windows.

Is there anything I can do, so that it'll still run as normal without having to reset the license, after I reinstall windows?

It just keeps happening, every few weeks I have to reinstall Windows, because it starts acting abnormal, and reinstalling seems to be the only thing that solves it.

I hadn't used my scrapebox in a few years and in the meantime I had installed windows 10 with a clean install. When I reinstalled my scrapebox a few weeks ago it was ok. I had to get a reactivation code or something sent but it only took a few hours to get it working again. I don't think it's too much trouble if it's still the same computer.

Maybe you reinstalled it after a month had ended. They do allow you to renew your license for a new computer for free, if it's a new month.

What is this reactivation code? I've never heard anything about it.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't work, but you could try to find their folder in %appdata% location, there is place where apps keeps personal preferences data, etc. and copy all contents, after you reinstall windows, drop files which you copied to the same location.

Sorry I jsut checked my email there about the process and it was called a 'license transfer'. It also said at the time my next free license transfer would be the start of the next month.

I've copied all appdata stuff. Let's hope it works.

And by the way, I did try and copy and paste the appdata. It doesn't work.

Do you have to pay again for license after reinstalling Windows? Coz I reinstalled Windows and I didn't have to renew my license. All I had to do was to contact them to activate Scrapebox in newly installed Windows!

When did you do that, recently?

OP your biggest issue is, why do you need to re-install windows every 2 weeks?
If you have to re-install more than every 6 months then it is probably a sign you need to upgrade.
What is the problem?
Do you have enough ram?
What AV and Anti-malware do you use?
Post the specs of your computer.

I really don't know. Eventually it just gets to the point where the computer starts freezing up for long periods of time, and doesn't respond to anything. So the only option is to reinstall. But it's beginning to look like I might have to replace the computer.

Have you checked the temps?
Is it overheating?
Also check what processes are running.
Does sound like you probably need an upgrade.

As for scrapebox I don't think there is a valid workaround. You could try asking @Sweetfunny or @loopline for advice.

I think it may be something to do with the hard drive, it may be corrupted, or something like that. But if it were that, why would reinstalling the OS bring it back to normal for X amount of weeks?
