I've been recording and editing my videos with Camtasia 7 but I'm not happy with it so I'm wondering what else is there that is a good video editor besides Camtasia 7. Free or not, price doesn't matter.

I do my screen shots in Camtasia and use Sony Vegas to edit and render.

I have been editing with VideoPad, it is easy to use but not expect much.

    Alilcrankcrank,

For screen capture I still use Camtasia but for editing I have grown fond of Adobe Premiere Pro. Its expensive but it does a really nice job for pretty much anything you want to do. Adobe lets you download a 30 day trial to check it out.

Only drawback is that crashes when you have too many things running at once.

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn
