IS there any way to use 8GB ram on a WinXP 32

    Is there any way to use a full 8GB on a windows XP 32 bit, instead of going to 64?

    no dude, it supports up to 4GB there's no way you can trick it to use 8GB.
    Even with 4GB installed, you'll most probably see 3.5GB if you don't play with the BIOS.
    There's an option called Memory Hole Remapping, turn it on.

    You could always look into purchasing higher quality RAM at the 4g level to increase performance, but you won't be utilizing more than 3.5 effectively on 32bit XP (or any 32bit windows for that matter)

    Do yourself a favour and upgrade to Windows 7. It's far more reliable and secure, plus it looks nicer and it's fast (unlike Vista).

    XP is ten years old, let it die.
