My site used to do very good but now fell down hard 7-8 pages.
I think this is because of bad linking profile someone did for us.

Is there any way to recover the domain?

Respectfully stop spamming advertising on me.

If you read the original post, you would notice that we website used to rank fine and then was penalized to 7-8 page down. Using the shitty "seo optimization" that everyone sells nowadays.

Now I need to find a way to recover. Buying more "seo services" will not help.

What you need is good new fresh content and lots of it i mean. And start building links slowly. No Backlink service will help you back up, its just not the way to do it.

    Honestly?

Its not easy and will require, at the minimum, a very close analysis of your current link-profile and reasons for ranking drop.

If its an algorithmic penalty and the site is genuinely worth saving (and not just moving to a new domain and starting again) then dilution can help. This could mean keyword-anchor dilution or dilution of link-types (profile is top-heavy with certain type of links).

If it's a manual penalty (do you use GWT; they'll have messages you. But I hope you don't use them,) then it's much harder...

Some people have had success with Googles Disavow tool; but I think it's questionable. And usually, getting involved in any communication with Google just invites further inspection, and unless you've been squeaky clean, it can end up worse.

I've recovered about 200-300 sites across some of my networks by simply cleaning them of content and starting again with a gentle flow of good content. After 6-12 months they normally come back, but this is a long term strategy if you have a lot of niche relevant sites and URLs you want to keep.

Have you tried to analyze your site for some backlinks that might still drag him down?

"Buy someone's service to do that for you" could be the answer to ANY question, and I expect someone with more than a year on the forum, almost 1000 posts and a rep of 203 to do better than that. A newb with 2 weeks on forum and 32 posts can give a lame-ass and stupid answer like that and it's appropriate, but you can't. You didn't even bother to mention which specific BST would be best for the OP's needs.

    @Korban:

If you read around, you'll find that there are a few generally-accepted courses. One is to use Google's "disavowal tool" in webmaster tools to get them to ignore the links, and the other is basically to wait and hope that the demotion is temporary. There may be others. I wouldn't depend on just one thread to give you the information as, as you have seen here, the quality of the help can vary dramatically. Best if you use the "search" function and try to dig around and find the answer yourself. Also, it helps to post in threads that are obviously or particularly noteworthy. You might get the attention of someone that really knows something, instead of someone that puts-up cookie-cutter and meaningless answers to serious questions that deserve substantive answers.

You first need to identify what type of penalty it is. If you don't know, then you'll be potentially hurting buying other services.

If it is a algorithm link penalty, then typically you can just get natural/naked, URL and general anchor text links and build over a 3-4 week period and you should start to see your rankings come back up.

Have you considered using Google's 'Disavow links' tool? Would you maybe be ready to change your domain name?

Tread carefully on this. I've read reviews from disgruntled newb customers of the poor quality of results.

How do you know this, vs. a manual demotion?

There is a long way to recover a penalized website, and unless you have brand value on your website, its not worth taking that long road.

Firstly check this page for Google updates
    Code:
    http://moz.com/google-algorithm-change
If the time isn't right, have a look at your link profile, for basic view you can use "ahrefs". If your link profile looks bad: use Webmaster tools "disavow" tool.

If link profile looks good, check your onsite for duplicate content. If content is duplicate: rewrite it, while you do it use "noindex"

If u use unique content, have a nice ON SITE SEO, look for bought links to your page. If you bought links to your site, use "rel=nofollow".

If you didn't bought any links, PM me, I'll have a look.
