Hi, finally I'm back here in BHW.

Started with game hack niche before, now I'm starting my career as an SEO to help businesses and I'm hoping to get your insights to my query.

I have access to semrush and ahrefs, and I know how to view the referring domains of my competition.

Is there a way to identify those competitor's backlinks that are offering guest posting?

I have this initial knowledge of using Google search operators but can't get my head around it.

So let's say I have competitor backlink url 1, and would like to search that url for terms like "write for us, submit an article, etc."

How do I combine these G dorks: allintitle, allinurl, allintext?

How about if I want to check all those backlinks from my top 5 competitors? I read somewhere that this can be done in scrapebox, but what if i am to do it in Ahrefs or semrush?

Or how about utilizing google search, search operators and the ahrefs extension then extracting CSV?

Please help.

SEMrush and Ahrefs for backlink profiles. For guest post hunts, sift through these backlinks for "write for us" or similar phrases. SEMrush/Ahrefs won't filter these directly, so export and use Excel or Sheets to narrow down.

Alright, I know how to check their backlink profile/reffering domains.

What you're telling me, is to do bulk, extract all their backlink profiles to excel/sheets, then filter?

I may be able to filter the DR, traffic and etc. But how do I identify if which domain is offering a guest post?

Do I manually check that domain? Or, can I use google sheets and place the search operator in each row?? This just came out while typing. Lol

A website does not need to have a write for us page to accept guest posts. In fact, sites with such pages are not as desirable as ones without. If you want to know if a website accepts guest posts, you reach out to them.

Got your point. As I think about it now, these sites with "write for us" might even be bad for our money site. Not all, but maybe a majority of them.

Contact all sites and ask for guest post .. u will be amazed

Thank you. I recently got hired, and one of my tasks is to acquire more backlinks through guest posting/niche edit.

So I guess, best course of action is just to use Ahrefs > Content Explorer > Enter Keyword > set DR maybe 20-30 > minimum traffic to 2k. Then export all results and individually check for their emails?

What do you think guys? Or can you please advise how I will do the setup/filter in Ahrefs?

I don't really want to be spoonfed as I enjoy continous learning but maybe this one is an exception. Any tips would really impact my success. Thanks

In your spreadsheet, you can certainly filter by metrics like DR and traffic to prioritize potential targets. To pinpoint which domains offer guest posts, you'd usually need to check manually since Ahrefs and SEMrush won't specify this.

However, you can speed up the process. Add a column in your sheet with the formula to concatenate the domain with search operators like "site:example.com + 'write for us'". Then use this as a quick link to Google the phrase, taking you directly to pages that indicate guest posting opportunities.

Thank you, good sir.

At the moment, I just relied on other websites that's offering a list of sites that accepts guest post. And then I'm manually checking their metrics one by one.

So in summary:
1. Use Ahrefs/Semrush
2. Set filter and enter search term(can you please suggest on what I should input for Health niche?)
3. Export as CSV
4. Add column and use search operator "site:example.com + 'write for us'"
