Is there any way I can find out how many hits does a keyword get in Google?

    You can use Google's Adword keyword tool. Run a search. Then look for the 'match type' drop down box. Change it from broad to exact. That gives you an estimate of monthly searches on Google.

    Market Samurai is based around Google adword keyword applications.
    There is a trial version .
    It does the hard work to give you the best idea to see if you have a chance of of ranking for a keyword.
    Make sure you choose a country search when you use it .
    Use the keyword you want in google search.
    Get the top ranked domain and look at their source code for keywords..
    Throw em in and do the work..voila..:D

    I used a program called Keyword Country. It gives you what you were originally asking for, and a bunch of other useful information, like competition, etc.
