Hi. I just bought an expired domain and want to restore the website to its original structure. I want to retain the URL structure of the website so that all its backlinks remains relevant.
I saw an option to download the whole website in "waybackmachinedownloader" but it takes around 15 bucks per domain. Is there any option to restore the entire website for an expired domain for free ?
Any methods would be highly appreciated.
Thanks. :)

Other than using Google Cache or Archive.org, I wouldn't see a possible way to do this. Unless the domain is perhaps attached to the hosting, but even then still not sure.

Yes this is a fairly common thing. If you post to want to hire section I know some folks here on BHW used to do it.

HTTrack might do it. If you have some python/php knowledge, it should be fairly easy to do as well.

there are free tools to scrape data from waybackmachine, just have a look.
or try httrack like gogol suggested, just not sure if it works well with archive.org. i've only tried it with live websites.

HTTrack doesn't work well for archive sites. If you want to do it for free then there's a ruby setup on github that works beautifully.

$15 is not a bad deal. If you have job, you waste 1 hr doing backup, thats lost of $15-20 too. just pay that
