i ordered this fiverr pyramid gig. after the delivery, i asked the seller if he pinged the backlinks. he said he "cannot do it because of penguin."

i said, as far as i understand, a link does not exist, if google does not know about it. i asked the seller to explain what he meant. he came back with a cancellation request?

is there something i dont know there?

If you ping too many backlinks at once it looks spammy. If you bought a fiverr gig with 2,000 links and 20,000 tier 2 links for example and all of those were indexed in one day, it would be very obvious that some form of link manipulation was going on.

You can sign up to a service like indexification and ping the backlinks yourself, but set it to happen over a period of 10, 20, 30 days to make it less spammy

Well explained. Just don't ping them all in one day if the list is big.

Most fiverr pyramid gigs are a waste of time.

When you asked a simple question, he cancelled the gig. Brilliant.

Post the gig, I can use some shit links on some sites. Then I will get my links for free.

this idea is not to get $5 back. what if it works and later you want to use his gig again? on the other hand, it doesnt appear that the seller is very confident about his service.

it looks like linklicious is the only one free and its very limited, when it comes to drip feed index?

Nothing wrong with pinging other than i see it as a waste of time i should have used to building more links..

I prefer to allow Google find my links naturally.

is it true that pinging makes no difference other than speeding things up?
