There were plenty of BANS websites making good income through ebay affiliate program. But most of them have been de-indexed by Google. So, I'd like to know if there are any other good alternatives to promote ebay affiliate programs?

I haven't used it, but I have read about a wordpress plugin that will automatically take ebay RSS feeds and display products on your website with your affiliate code embedded in them. It allows you to create product listings that are live/real time in only minutes.

The product is called 'PHP bay' and the website is

    hxxp;//w3.p*h*p*bay.c0m/

    hope this helps....

PHP B*y all the way... 100% better than BANs. Stop wasting your time with BANs and get with the program - you'll be thankful!

Just so happens that I started working on a site today that could really use PHPBay. I was trying to think of how I was going to go about things and this sounds perfect. Thanks!

Go with the phpbay, it looks so much better than BANS. I used BANS for a while but it was ugly and there is a learning curve if you want to get the most out of it. Phpbay is a wordpress plugin that kicks complete ass. Combine the flexibility of wordpress with the easy use of phpbay and it is a winner bar none. My 2 cents..

It's not the software that you use which determines whether your site gets deindexed or not. If you have nothing on there but ebay listings it will be deindexed whether you use BANS or wordpress.

That said, BANS is a piece of crap, and you are better off using anything other than BANS. The eBay API itself is easy enough to deal with that you can use any CMS you want.

If you can code in PHP, it is pretty easy to put together a simple library (classes if you are in to coding enough to know what that is, or just plain php coding) that can do this. Then you can modify the output enough across sites enough to ensure that your site does not get fingerprinted (ala BANS sites that got de-indexed).

If you can't code... ignore this!
