I have sent a lot of email to non targeted email list, i made sales but there are someone told me that he report me scam to the police. He from USA and i'm not from USA, i'm in a 3rd country and i think there are no local rule apply on me in this situation. I do use a fake(USA) name and redirect the affiliate link. I'm withdraw my money from Click bank now in case they ban me
Also could someone define the term " scam", of course when i try to convince them to buy it i say a lot of un-true thing.

You're fine, he's probably just scaring you, but yeah, Email isn't isn't really a good thing to do, but still, you're safe, I'm pretty sure because USA's law won't apply outside of US, definitely not in a third world country.

Yeah, i don't like to spam email people but it's a quick way to make some money. I'm building a review website and i will stop spam email because it's too risky, i have read some rule that spam email or text, call in USA is illegal so i hope guys from US should be careful, maybe should build a high targeted email list? but still there are chance that some guys will complain about you

in the states all we have to do is have an unsubscribe link on all our email correspondences. if you put that on your email at the bottom you will be fine. nothing they can do to you

I, like the guy who emailed you back, do this stuff to foreigners too.....just to scare them. If i went to the police they would laugh at me...and if I went to the FTC I would waste a whole lot of time.

the only time you really i have to worry is if you are sending out millions of emails a day and you get a ton of complaints, then the FTC looks at you.

You're breaking US law by sending unsolicited emails. I wouldn't worry too much, but just keep that in mind. Keeping it up MAY have consequences.

how are you getting these emails? buying the list or sending your offer out via a third party email marketing service?

I would think the greater risk is a Clickbank ban. This is just asking for trouble.

I bought it from a guy, he said it's targeted but it's not the case. There are a lot of ' not happy' guys in the list, they complain a lot

Complaints are a normal part of emailing. If you are making any decent revenue from it, you'll get complaints. Just make sure you unsub people as they request.

Yeah, but to clarify on this point: while it's against the law in the US, no one will come after you for this unless you become like the king of spammers, in which case you'd probably have the money to escape extradition* -not that I'm recommending any of this.

*When the police arrest you in your country then send you to America to face an american court and judge.

Also, as a point of law, your country probably can't legally extradite you to the US unless what you are doing is also illegal there -that said if the US wants it they'll get it, legal or no.
