Is there actually a good Western number provider for SMS activation?

I've had experience with hidemynumbers, getsmscode, and the other one.. the Russian one (can't remember the name). They seem to barely work, and conveniently are usually from countries infamous for spam. I'm looking English speaking countries - though understandably this seems harder to do.

I'm aware HMN do US numbers if you contact via skype, though trying to catch them online and get a response is proving difficult. (anyone know prices/how they're exposed to you?)

I bought a dual sim adapter for cellphones and bulk very cheap SIM cards, but having to manually switch is mundane and not in line with the automated way everything else works.

Other possibilities are renting numbers meant for full time use, though this would typically be more expensive that just buying accounts from someone!

Is there actually a good solution out there (preferably with API)?

I have heard good things about an app, "Groove IP." You can get a free number, use it for a short time, and delete it if you desire.

I also cannot PM yet. Lol at us both being members since May 2014, yet neither can PM.

Thanks for the suggestion, looks good. Unfortunately doesn't appear to have an API/

It's all mixed up here, are you looking for SMS solution or API?
