Is there a wordpress plugin or software to import paragraphs in .txt files as posts ?

Hi,

I have a lot of .txt files that are setout like this

Code:

heading is in the first line of the .txt file


then the post text is in the third line and 
onwards.....................

is there any wordpress plugin or software that anyone can recommend or have experience with, that allows me to import a lot of .txt files set out like above into wordpress as posts?

The easiest way is to convert your text file into the RSS format (just a few lines of code needed) and then syndicate the result using any freeware RSS aggregating plugin, e.g.: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cybersyn/

thanks but I'd rather a cleaner option then having to use rss to be honest,

anyone else have other suggestions? how do people post their bulk articles that are in .txt files?

You can write simple application with Wordpress XML-RPC API, which post your content to your sites. I am gonna write something similar in next few weeks.

if you have simple php or coding skills you could write a script that emails it to wordpress and from there wp can post it
