    Hello,

I've spent hours reading about all the group, personal account, etc -- black hat -- ways to grow a Facebook page. I am wondering if there is a white-hat way? I am not looking for free, i am willing to spend, but not FB AD spend.

For example, would love to hear if anyone tried paying large accounts to share your content to their audience? Have you done this? How effective was it? What is the pricing strategy?

I already tried button on website, noone clicks it - and not not looking for black-hat ways here.

Any other ideas besides paying for FB Ads to grow followers?

    Thanks!

    Cost per follower is high.
For example, lets say I can optimize the ads and get followers at $0.10. That means 1000 followers is $100.
Maybe instead I can pay a large page say $50 and get same 1000 followers. Just one of ideas...

Yes, sharing on big pages can get you more followers! Price can vary from page to page, but it might get you 1k+ from 1 share.

Well you can pay for FB ads. It's a surefire way to get some traffic.

But a good whitehat method IMO is to find the leaders in your niche. Find big pages that have 20k+ - 100k+ and strike a deal to pay them for a post. I've paid a few friends who are big in the meme community and my posts usually reach 50+ shares. Being friends with them makes this process go even easier.

Getting friendly with the bigger pages makes you stronger in your niche.

    Hope this helps!

Find groups that are same with your niche, idk if this is blackhat but you can share your post on groups with some fake acc. or your acc (exmample 20-30 shares with 2-3 acc)

As soon as you use the words "some fake acc" its black hat :) This is indeed the standard approach on this forum.

Thanks. Glad to hear I am thinking along the right path.
Any guidance on the price? Like 1M account will charge ##-##?
Also, how big should the sharing account be to get 1K followers from 1 share?
Thanks in advance for the answers.

Price can depend from many factors. 1M+ Pages can ask you from 30$ up to 250$ per post/share.
From my experience with fb s4s and pay to share, can say that smaller pages 300k+ with Tier1 active audience can get you more $$ and followers than 1M+ pages with Tier3 population.
Also timing is very important, post content etc.
Before 3 days i did s4s with 120k+ active page and I get 1300+ page likes only from 1 post. ;)
My honest advice, dont bother with Tier2-3 audience. There is no money in that. Work only with Tier1 FB Pages.
And trust me 70% or more of fb pages are using BH to get premium audience, so there is no shame in that. :)

It's take some time, if you don't want to spent any money on fb.

Right now many of people(Including me), use fb ads to promote their real whitehat page, for example

Create a fb page - Developer vs Programmer or Underground Programmer or Hardcode Developer etc, create page that attract noob people not a genuie one, because all of pro webmaster already know both are different things but noob user don't know that and share your page on their timeline just because someone of his/her friends think he is pro in programmer or developer.

Similarly post that kind of images as well in your post, and you will know lot's of noob progammer and developer will share your pages, you just have to grab some attention in first, and for that I recom to use fb ads.

To earn some money don't use affliate programrs from udemy or teamtreehouse or lynda, because in reality your all of fans just start learning programming, they just act like pro, in reality they are purely dump so to monetize them use the news article. and I bet your news story like hacking or similar will get thousand of hits daily.

I agree that sharing on like pages or joining like groups is a great way to grow your page.

Before paying big pages to share your posts, ask for a test post. You can go as you wish, investing thousands of dollars on a fanpage is a non-sense. You share a video on your page and someone gives you a copyright strike and you lose your fanpage or the account managing your fanpage. I manage to get 1k likes per day for free on my niche. The niche is very important.

Maybe create good content and try to get viral posts.
Doing these you should also be aware of clickbait as facebook is quite hard on it nowadays.

Contests can be created on your company's Facebook page if you want to get more people to pay attention to your profile. For instance, have your followers post photographs of themselves with your product. Pick a winner and give them a prize of real value.

White hat would be niches permited by Facebook.
Black hat would be the one thats not.
Also you have grey hat, that are the one that is not clear and some people is banned it doing while others not.

Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas. I put all them to the test.
Wanted to give an update on my experience so far.

I have launched a few new Pages and trying out different approaches. Note, these are not personal pages.
(Niche: Fashion, Decor, Beauty, DIY -- BrightSide.me type)

    1. Paid Shares.
Yeah, these work. Watch out for quality of profiles who will be doing sharing. Most have Mexico, Brazil, Philippines followers. Just cause an account has 3M followers, it doesnt mean you want them.
Make sure to Block all countries you don't want followers from at the Page level. My goal is to get pure Tier 1 followers, outside of US/Canada/EU Counties, the rest are blocked.
Page size VS price doesnt mean anything. Pay for a test of 5 shares and monitor the lift in Organic likes. Then divide price per share by average lift to get cost per follower. Compare that to what you can achieve in #2 below, or negotiate better rate based on results.
RESULTS: Able to get US followers for ~3.5-4.5 cents per follower. Need to negotiate more or find other pages with better quality followers.
    2. FB LikePage Ads
These are definitely not easy to get at a good price. But if you do end up hitting the mark, then its just monitoring and occasionally switching up the images.
Targeting is everything, if you target the wrong audience with wrong image then its going to cost you.
After lots of experimenting, on brand new Pages please note, I was able to get cost per follower reduced from 33 cents, to 2.5 cents per follower, best result so far. So $20/day in Ads brings you 800 targeted, active, US, followers on autopilot. All pages with these results have over 12% reach per post and pretty great engagement in terms of Likes, Share and Comments.
    3. Next Steps - Testing Viral content more.
I had a few posts that had 300% reach of my followers, however not a single new organic follower. What gives? Do I need to say anything special in my post so that people follow me?

I am sure I can get good results from SHAREs as well. Will keep looking for amazing content first an then will resume testing.
For Ads, I have to say I am very happy with results so far - will keep experimenting with targeting to try to reach 1-1.5 cent per follower --- This would mean I can build 1M account with targeted, active, US followers for $10K-$15K - that would be pretty damn sweet!

Would love to hear your stories.
Whats the best price per follower were you able to get? (US, Tier 1 Countries)
What are your strategies for growing pages?
Does viral content really work? Are you able to get decent follower grow with it?

    Thanks All!

Yes I am also looking for your input "Can you explain please how you managed to reduce costs to 2.5 cents per USA follower?" how it is possible I am not getting reach itself for 1$ max I am getting 20k. How I can make the ads to get more reach for T1 traffic
