hello everyone. As you have guessed i am new to web design and scripting. I am using phpdesigner to write the code to learn scripting but whenever i include a database, i cant run the website on phpdesigner to test it. I am still following some tutorials and they tell me to upload the files to the site root which require me to buy hosting space. Is there a way to fully test my websites and tutorials without buying some hosting space until i have a finished website? Thanks everyone

You can use WAMP web development platform to run your site locally

Nothing like localhost to learn everything you need.

Also there is XAMPP, I have no idea whether it is better or worse than WAMP but it I have been using for many years now and it very easy to use with a simple setup so if you struggle with WAMP there is that.

XAMPP for the win. The idea is to test your site locally and then
upload it once you've killed all the bugs.
