I bought a good domain with nearly 1m followers across all social media.

I tried the catch-all domain trick but it seems the previous owner used a gmail address.

Is there a way to recover those accounts?

Thanks in advance guys

Are the social media profiles still there and getting updated?
For example if the domain has a subreddit and it has been abandoned you can claim that subreddit by asking for a moderator role there.

Your only option is to offer to buy them...
Another thing you should ask yourself is why did the previous owner, who had millions of followers, decided to let the domain expire rather than pay $8 to renew it?

People always does unexplainable things. For example, I abandoned my hentai Instagram page with 45k followers.

I'm trying to encourage you to find the reason this project was abandoned rather than sold or maintained before you spend more money on it.

I don't see how can I buy them. Any other way?

I paid 6.5k for this domain. Previous owner passed away....

Old posts on social media still bring ~200 visits/day.

there is a possibility that the previous owner died. not everything in life is constant

It turns out that this is what happened. But generally, I think that it's important to know if there is another reason this project was dropped.
