    hey,

So I'd like to recover forum from wayback machine it has almost everything there was, content is no more on google and id like to use it for myself, i could make new domain for this purpose.

Is there a way to do this all automaticcaly ? Because I know I could do it manually but it would take me a lot of freaking time there are thousands of posts..

I don't believe there is a way to do it for free, but there is software available. Dom recovery is good, the devs on here and you can probably get a discount code.

waybackrebuilder is a good one. The expired domains plugin from scrapebox does it too.

For normal articles itd be fine, but it'd be difficult to restore a forum- you'd need to crawl all the users, create them in your database and re-post all the content. unless you just want the text content from them.

Run the expired domain plugin and click the archive.org grabber on the top right.
A window like below will pop up:

Enter the url you want to extract and the date of the archive snapshot you want. Hit start and you are done in seconds.

I'd like to do the same thing but while I was surfing the archived version of my old forum, I noticed that many topics and posts are not archived: could it be that I have to do a more advanced kind of research or are they really gone forever?
