I've got a legit verified Paypal account that's a few years old. The debit card is convenient, but useless for purchasing big ticket items because the daily spending limit, as we all know is $3,000. Or, even worse, $400 for cash advances. Are these amounts written in stone or is there a legitimate way to increase my spending limit? I definitely don't want to do anything that's going to get my account flagged or banned.

Send it to your bank account. No there is no way to lift this. All bank debit cards also have some sort of restriction or even ATMs will have the restriction.

PayPal is limited. I can get you an unlimited card. Literally if you have the cash in your account, you can drain the ATM. No daily limits on cash. Of course it's not cheap and comes with a lot of paperwork, and $20K to open... oh never mind I don't even want to broker that deal right now, it's too complicated...

I didn't really think there would be a way around this, but wanted to ask the experts nonetheless. One never knows what sort of loopholes might exist. Thanks all!

Since paypal acts as a sort of "bank" just call em up and talk to them. There's always set standards put in place, but most companies are more than happy to lift those for certain people. Same as a bank, I remember having my card declined at Apple because I had reached a purchase limit on my card, called up the bank, they were happy to release it.
