Hi everyone,
The need of getting a us bank account is getting bigger year after year. I searched but ddn't found an exact answer to this .

Is there a way to get a REAL us bank account (not a virtual one , no payoneer) even if you're outside the US ?

I'm ready to travel and open one there if that's an option (although I think that isn't possible) but really . is there a way ?

You may try deep web marketplaces but its highly NOT recommended as most of the times you will end up loosing btc.

Actually I would like to know this as well. It is even hard to get a legit US VBA (besides payoneer), cos Payoneer is not supported by lot of companies.

Set up a business in the USA and go from there.

I am sure he meant a legit account for business purposes, not something shady from a deep web.

Actually the problem with payoneer is the fact that you NEED the compagny to send you funds by ACH otherwise you won't get them. I understand that is a mesure of security to keep money in the same network so no fear of having fraud issues. But it would have been cool to get payment from any other system .(#weallhavetherighttodream)

You could potentially open a bank account remotely by incorporating a company in the US and then opening a business bank account but this would be very complicated in terms of tax filing requirements, legal fees, renewals, etc.

All these restrictions are mostly because of legal reasons but being able to verify a person face-to-face makes opening a bank account much easier. Still, opening a bank account without a valid Social Security Number (SSN) can be quite a challenge.

This, so as a non US resident, is it possible to do that ? Will it be a pain in the ass process (won't bother anyway). As I said I'm ready to go there and spend some time, but is it feasible

US guidelines say banks need primary accounts to be opened in branch.

Canadian banks that take USD?

indeed , this sn't a long term / professional solution .

See if Stripe.com/Atlas is something that will help you.

I'm not sure but do they provide real accounts?

To be honest I don't mind having a complicated process. This a business and needs to be treated as a business, So now the solution will be to go there?

ok this is exactly what I've been looking for. I just took a look at the form and defo it's feasible. I will probably drop them a call to ask more questions but I feel this is what I need.

Thanks @MisterF and will let you know how it's going.

PM me.

I don't have an answer for you, but I do have a pretty choice pic of a good pupper I found.

Yes you can open an account in branch.

I am Canadian and flew to USA for vacation and opened an account in Florida. It's a US account and it's now connected to my PayPal as well. I have both Canadian and USA accounts connected to PayPal and save the exchange rate by transferring USA dollar sales to the USA account and Canadian dollars to Canadian account.

It took about an hour in branch so didn't affect my vacation and I wrote part of it off as a business trip.

Call ahead though, it's advisable to have an appointment.

Not sure if it works for all nationalities though.

Just register a company in USA and travel to city of company registration and banks will be happy to give u an account. You can hv multiple accounts with different banks for same company.
