I recently invested in someone on here and all of a sudden my SERPs just dropped 235 spots? The fuck.

Don't trust anyone bro. Even if you give them money. They don't care about you. Just learn it your self.

Did you receive any messages in webmaster tools about unnatural linking?

You can also connect your analytics to http://www.barracuda-digital.co.uk/panguin-tool/ to do penalty overlays.

Okay. This is weird. On SerpBook.Com it says that today I've dropped 235 spots. However, when I check it manually on Google.Com it tells me that I'm still ranked where I should be.

    Could SerpBook be wrong?

I also had the same thing happen to me last year to one of my sites. Good luck, hope you can recover.

It happens, how long has it been since you got your links built?

    It's really quite simple:

If all your rankings have dropped off the planet, you've been penalized.

No Sorry, you don't always get a nice little message from google to tell you that they've taken action against your site, and some third party website/service is not going to be able to tell you if you've had one of many algorithmic based penalties applied to your site, let the empirical evidence speak for itself.

Give it a week or so to see if your rankings return (happens all the time), then start to worry, and decide how to proceed from there.

How long has your website been down in the SERPs? If your website is new then there is a good chance your just dancing. What kind of links did you order?

I would trust your manual searches over SerpBook. Try from another computer, your mobile device and through a proxy in a different country to get a better idea of which results are the real deal.

When I go to Google.com and search for my keyword I'm still still ranked. I've cleared my browser and tried from another one too. I also checked the SERP from my phone. Should I be fine?

It might be just a SERP Book glitch.

Use Rank Tracker (free version from SEO Power Suite) to verify.

Could be there's nothing to worry about at all after all :)

Rank Tracker said that I'm ranked where I'm suppose to be. What do you think?

You are jumping at ghosts. Computers are glitchy.

Quit looking at your rankings daily, it will drive you nuts.

Site rankings glitch all the time, customers call me all the time in a panic because their site is gone when they check, most of the time it is a glitch.

If you ordered a bunch of backlinks, you might have killed your site, but only time will tell.
