Hey eric56hk -

I always just go to google and enter

link: http://www.domain.com

its quick and easy. It wont tell you as much as the seo tools but will give you an idea of your backlinks.

Google does not show all the backlinks that they count towards your site, something about protecting competing sites from copying each other.

Honestly, Yahoo's Sitexplorer does a much better job. hxxps://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/

It will show all backlinks they have listed for your site. Trust me, put your site into Yahoo Siteexplorer then Try the Google link: trick and you will see a big difference.

If Yahoo shows it as a backlink then odds are Google counts it too, it might just not be shown. Again, Google does NOT show all of your backlinks on purpose!

Case in point. One of my domains that I've had for almost 6 years now, Google shows only 37 backlinks. Yet is has a high PR, gets great Google SE traffic and Yahoo shows my backlinks in the 1000's.

SEO Quake is one of the best things I have on my PC. Its great to make comparisons from all different sources and we have lots on this thread.

Just had a look at Domain-Pop and it looks very promising.

Also have Everprofits on my IE browser and that is excellent as well. Cover all bases.

mate if you're after checking them to see the one's google see's, use google webmaster tools and it has a complete list of every URL they have indexed on other pages pointing to yours. plus it's extra handy as it dosn't just do the url but each individual page.
