So out of curiosity, I did some googling before posting and I found binance futures. But I'm not a crypto trader or sort, just use it for payments only. I think it's just gambling. Crypto is volatile.

But anyways I'm willing to gamble.

So I'll like to buy a contract (not sure if it'll be long or short) that bitcoin price won't hit $40k or $45k within the next two months, or Eth won't hit $2.5k within the next two months.

Is there any exchange that offers this type of contract?

So, you wanna short it ?

If not, what you're looking for is options (not the binary options scam) but options do not exist yet for cryptos or if you find em,they will be very illiquid.

Sort of. But if I picked anything from Billions, shorting a position means you're expecting the price to tank right?

But instead of predicting that the price will tank further. I want to predict that it won't rise upto a certain amount

Got ya.

Options is what you need but as far as I know, such products don't exist for cryptos yet.

Keep in mind that with option, you trade 100 units of the underling (in case of bitcoin, 100 btc), so you'll need deep pockets.

I once had to explain 3 times to a guy years back trading share options that you were seeing numbers but not the actual amount it was going to cost to buy or sell the actual shares.

Alright, thanks man

Last time I checked you could do so on Etoro. Basically, you can bet whether it will increase or decrease.
You didn't get my question

Thats options trading. To my knowledge, it does not exist in cypto space yet. Crypto can barely handle the blowbacks from flashloans and leveraged futures talk less of adding options to the mix. Butif you really are sure of your trade , its very simple to achieve in another way using dollar cost averaging. Its a "get rich or die trying " strategy that will always work, so long as you will always have money to not get liquidated before it retraces you into the money if the trade went against you.

Options are complex.

You can lose unlimited amount of money if you don't know what you're doing.

If someone wants leverage, it's better to stick with futures or spot leverage, at least you don't lose more than what you bet but with (naked) options you could lose unlimited amount of money

Sounds like you're looking for a crypto options exchange. You can trade crypto options on exchanges like bit.com or deribit.com etc. I have never used any of them, though.

You are talking about option trading. Stick with binance for such offer as they have the biggest liquidity for retail traders.
Alternatively try IQOption but you are trading against them so the more money you win, the more likely they will stop their service to you.

This is usually done in Binary Trading
You can bet starting from 1 minute
