My client is writing these articles that are like 150 words with a picture about projects they have done.

Their domain is a long site so I need their content to be good. But they're like we can't come up with 1,400 word papers. Like really their site is one long page and then there is a blog. Will you tell me a way to get them to write more?

Try telling them to describe the project in step by step fashion. I had a client that owned a construction business and his content was really lacking so I told him to write out a day on each job site. It worked.

How about comparing them to their competition and recommending them likewise?

Offer to pay a bit more. If you are paying peanuts, then you will get peanuts.

how about trick them a bit:

Make a long post compose out of few of their posts (it won't cost them anything)

and then show them the engagement or the results of the long post.

Maybe you can convince them that is IN THEIR INTEREST to do so.
