Is there a proxy that will work for this?

I'm trying to use a proxy in conjunction with VVist. I'm new to proxies but everything I try seems to work for the internet only. VVisit detects IP address and no matter what proxy I connect to, it displays my real unedited IP. Is there a proxy, or other piece of software, that I can use to change my IP for all internet traffic?

I don't know what VVist is but it sounds like you are using transparent proxies. What you are looking for are highly anonymous (a.k.a. elite) proxies.

use socks5 proxy instead http proxy, it's the most advanced proxy type
