Is there a plugin that suggests outbound external link?

I had thought about this. I even asked for a Dev that can do it, so I can share my ideas. It's very possible with the right dev. Keep me posted if you find someone, we can contribute and do it for use by ourselves (I doubt there is any such existing plugin)

They want automated system or less hassle free. Did you hear about linkwhisper? , that is for internal linking on semiautomated . They want just like it but for external link
 
There is no such system because a plugin can't deside the intent of the article and what pages it should link to based on the provided text.
 
I don't think link whisper can find external links.. it's useful for internal but there is a huge gap in the market for something that works in bulk.
 
What you're asking for requires the plugin to understand the intent of your article (NLP) and then crawl the internet for relevant authority articles (not as simple as linking to the top SERP results as you might end up giving link juice to your competitors)

That kind of plugin would be quite resource-heavy to host and maintain inside your WordPress dashboard. The only solution is a centrally managed cloud server for the plugin alone but it's not worth the hassle for something so trivial.

Exactly my thoughts.
It will be a hosted SaaS service
 
I don't think if there is any available solution on the web for this. Because the plugin has to read the complete content using AI to get the idea and then search the web for relevant words to hyperlink them.
 
But we are all linking out religiously? At least most of us and it's a waste of time. Wish someone builds a plugin for it.

I'm not sure but I think the guys at Niche Pursuits have something related to what you're looking for.
I recall reading through their newsletter a tool that deals with links.

Big fan of sermehran club. I am a Lifetime member of it since 5 years back. I never had any virus or malware problem with any of its plugin and themes.
Do you work there?
Or are you an affiliate.
 
here is the command i am giving chatgpt+ to give me anchor text for external , speeds up building external links, it needs to be corrected a few times before it give you the anchor texts, or may be i need to improve the prompt a little bit, use webpiot plugin for these commands

1) I want you to select 5 anchor text word count 2-5, that make sense, from this article, skip bold text and headlines, skip first 4 paragraphs , find anchor texts from the paragraph text and must not be the beginning of the paragraph - <url1>
2) make sure the 5 selected anchor text are present in the above article

I will keep this as a feature for my plugin. Using chatgpt + google it should be possible to achieve this
